Yakult: Medior Consumer Insight Analyst

The Challenge

For almost 90 years, the unique Yakult has stood for contributing to good health. A new wind is blowing within Yakult Europe, driving many positive changes. A largely new marketing team is being built, and you will be a key player. From the European headquarters, we will add value for the countries involved, enabling them to achieve optimal results. The insights you will gather will form the basis for many of the activities. You’ll have the opportunity to participate fully in discussions and contribute to the development, so that even more people can benefit from this healthy drink.

Position in the organisation: The Medior Consumer Insights Analyst reports to the Manager Insights, Media & Strategy, with which you work closely together. 

Activities:

  • Responsible for setting up, coordinating and monitoring various research-projects for the European offices.  
  • Advertising and Brand tracking and responsible for the analysis and interpretation of the results. 
  • Focus on Business information, such as competition information and you support in other major (insights and business) projects. 
  • By generating the right insights at European and local level and by sharing these structurally and in an inspiring way with various European countries, the (potential) consumer can be reached more effectively and efficiently.  
  • Interact frequently with the local Operating Companies (OpCo’s) in various European countries, share your analyses and recommendations where necessary. This in close collaboration with various colleagues within and outside Marketing. 
  • Advice marketers in all European countries.

  • A competitive salary: range of € 5.000,- to € 5.500,- gross per month (based on Scale 8 and 40 hours per week), based on knowledge, skills and seniority. 
  • A variable bonus scheme (5-12% of your annual salary). 
  • 25 holidays and 2 company holidays based on a fulltime employment 
  • A full-time position (32 hours is negotiable, the part-time workday will be determined in consultation) and a one-year contract, with the intention of switching to a permanent contract after one year. 
  • Hybrid working for full-time work (40 hours): 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. For 32 hours, 3 days in the office and 1 day working from home.  
  • Based on our mindset of continuous improvement, we actively support your personal development by participating in (external) training courses.

  • Yakult Europe in Almere is easily accessible by public transport. 

Who are you?

  • You are an enthusiastic, proactive team player who combines sensitivity and perseverance.
  • You are driven to continuously improve your skills and contribute even more to the results of Yakult’s European branches. 
  • You are interested in analyzing consumers and advising marketers across Europe. Your strong presentation and storytelling skills are a valuable asset. 
  • You also enjoy being part of an international and ambitious team. 

 

Knowledge/ skills: 

  • Level of education: You completed a relevant HBO or WO education. 
  • Language: You are fluent in English (our common language), and proficiency in Dutch is much appreciated. 
  • You are an enthusiastic, proactive team player who combines organizational sensitivity with personal steadfastness. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in independently setting up and conducting research. This may also have been acquired at an agency. 
  • Preferably you already have experience with Brand & Ad tracking. 
  • You like numerical analysis, but you are also curious about the drivers of human psychology. 
  • You know ‘all’ Excel and PowerPoint tricks to enhance your analyses and presentations. 
  • You have an affinity for data-driven reporting and you are eager to develop your skills and become proficient in creating and optimizing recurring reports. 
  • You are a self starter with strong presenting and storytelling skills.
